Microsoft OneNote is one of the advance apps for taking notes, organizing information and compiling data. The most important thing is that it syncs with the cloud, it enables you to access your notes anywhere. This is a multi- platform, which can be used on iOS, Android, MacOS and web. Here, few important steps are explained to avoid OneNote sync issues on a mobile device: –
OneNote for iOS (iPhone and iPad)-
- Initially, you need to open OneNote, tap < icon in the upper-left side of the screen and tap the gear button next to account name and email address.
- On the settings button under account, you need to tap the account name.
- You have to tap the account name again and then select Remove account option.
- You have to accept the notification message that displays to confirm signing out.
- Make double tap on the home button of the device and swipe up on the OneNote app to close it properly.
- Lastly, you can start OneNote and sign into your account. You can also start just by clicking on office.com/setup. Thus, you will not find out any options to force sync in OneNote for iPad or iPhone.
OneNote for Android-
- You need to open OneNote and tap the menu in the upper-right side of the screen and select the settings option.
- You have to tap your account.
- Next, Tap sign out and then click on “OK” option.
- You have to tap the latest apps button on the bottom of the screen and find out the OneNote app and swipe it on other side to close it.
- Finally, you can start OneNote and sign into your account. You can start to sign into through office.com/myaccount for Android.
- In OneNote, you have to find out the Notebook that is facing sync errors.
- You need to tap the menu in the upper right side of the monitor and select Sync all.
- Lastly, you should release the device until the sync is completed. You can leave your device for some time especially in the case of first time syncs.
